Molinaro calls Rep. Santos a “liar” and a “fraud”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHCU) — The Southern Tier’s representative in Congress wants a fellow House member tossed out.

Congressman Marc Molinaro says George Santos is a “liar, fraud, and does not deserve to serve” in Congress. Molinaro voted Wednesday to expel Santos, who’s been charged with several crimes including fraud.

George Santos is a liar, a fraud, and does not deserve to serve. That’s why today, I put forward a resolution and voted to expel him from Congress and will keep working until he’s removed.

Santos, a Long Island Republican, survived the vote. Molinaro has vowed to keep working on his removal from office.
