BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WHCU) — Congressman Marc Molinaro is looking for answers from the federal government about the recent train derailment in Ohio.

Molinaro has requested information from the Environmental Protection Agency about any potential impact on New York. Earlier this month, a train carrying hazardous chemicals derailed in East Palestine, Ohio.

Molinaro, who represents the 19th Congressional district, says the chemical spill could have implications on the air and water quality of nearby states, including New York.
