CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – An arrest has been made in a Cortlandville theft investigation.

On November 3, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Real Deals Store on Route 281 for a report that an employee stole cash from the business. A warrant was issued for 25-year-old Joshua Price, of Marathon. Deputies found Price driving through Cortlandville on Wednesday. He was pulled over and promptly arrested. Authorities say Price had a small amount of a controlled substance in the vehicle.

Price is charged with felony grand larceny and misdemeanor drug possession. He’s being held in Cortland County Jail on $1,000 cash bail. Price is scheduled to appear in court for the grand larceny charge on December 4, and the drug charge on December 18.
