CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Tompkins County man is facing charges in Cortland County.

Deputies arrested Michael Grossi, of Mecklenburg Road in the Town of Enfield, Thursday, July 13, after an investigation into an order of protection violation. The 37-year-old allegedly entered a residence illegally on Tower Road in the Town of Cortlandville. Police say Grossi damaged property inside before fleeing.  Three people in the residence had orders of protection against Grossi, none were injured.

Grossi is charged with felonies of burglary and criminal mischief as well as three misdemeanors of contempt. Grossi was remanded to jail on $50,000 dollars cash bail to await his court appearance. Grossi has been arrested multiple times for similar charges over the last year.
