CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – An Onondaga County man awaits his day in Cortland County Court.
Cortland Police received a complaint from a teacher at OCM BOCES in Cortlandville on Friday, April 14, 2023, that a man left them violent and threatening text messages and voicemails. Authorities say those messages came from Joseph Pohl, of Manlius, N.Y., and were made because of perceived problem with the school.
Pohl was arrested Sunday, April 16, 2023, and charged with a felony of making a terroristic threat and misdemeanor aggravated harassment. Pohl was remanded to Cortland County Jail on $2,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. Pohl is scheduled to appear in Cortland City Court on April 26, 2023.
