LIVERPOOL, N.Y. (WHCU) — A school district in Onondaga County is getting closer to choosing a new mascot.

Liverpool has narrowed its search to 10 names, including Champions, Legends, and Gladiators. The district will be moving on from the Warriors moniker.

Elsewhere in the region, the Owego-Apalachin School District recently changed from the Indians to the River Hawks.
