CAYUGA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WHCU) — A property maintenance proposal in Cayuga Heights remains under consideration.
Several residents criticized the draft during a recent public hearing – some calling it confusing, others calling it vague. The proposed law would require property owners to keep grass shorter than 10 inches in length. It would also ban boats and cars from being placed on front lawns.
Village Mayor Linda Woodard says residents can continue to share their thoughts until the next Board of Trustees meeting, which happens on May 15.
