LANSING, N.Y. (WHCU) — Two meetings have been scheduled for the Yellow Barn Solar Project in Lansing and Groton.

Officials say the proposal would generate enough power for over 35,000 households. At the two meetings, questions about the 160-megawatt project will be answered and information will be shared.

Lansing’s meeting is on June 22 in the Lansing Town Board Room, while the meeting in Groton is the following day at Groton Town Hall. Both meetings start at 7 p.m.
