LANSING, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Lansing Food Pantry is getting more space to help with its growth.
Construction crews broke ground last week on the non-profit organization’s expansion project after nearly two years of planning. The addition will add around 1,300 square feet to the operation and is being funded by people and businesses associated with The Community Recreation Center, where both the pantry and The Rink are located.
Officials with the Lansing Food Pantry say the extra space is needed and will help them better serve their clients. The project is expected to be completed this fall.
