LANSING, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Lansing Fire Department responds to a field fire.

Volunteer firefighters were called to 100 block of Buck Road Wednesday afternoon. A field behind a resident’s home caught fire from a nearby burn pit. The blaze was contained, and officials say they were on scene for about 90 minutes. Bangs Ambulance was called to evaluate a non-related medical issue.
