ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca’s Planning & Development Board is reviewing a housing project.

It involves building over a dozen townhomes on Lake Street. Board member Daniel Correa says doing construction near Ithaca Falls is challenging – but possible.

“This is a tricky site to develop,” he says. “And there’s a world in which we can develop this site in a safe and responsible way that doesn’t jeopardize a public amenity.”

A public hearing for the project is set for March 26.
