ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Legislation that would prevent Ithaca Carshare from pausing operations is still on the table in Albany.
Assemblymember Anna Kelles says time is running out.
Kelles’ bill would allow car shares to be insured by companies located outside New York State. She says it has a lot of co-sponsors.
If the bill fails, Ithaca Carshare’s operations will have to stop May 19.
