ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Ithaca is seeking community input for the search of its next Chief of Police.

The city will host two virtual events to invite the public to share what qualities and characteristics they want in their next Police Chief. The search process and facilitation of meetings is being assisted by Public Sector Search & Consulting. Anyone is invited to attend; the pair of meetings will happen via Zoom.

MEETING SCHEDULE

  • Saturday March 11, 2023 – 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Monday March 13, 2023 – 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Additionally, interested parties ask the community to take an input survey.
