ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — An Ithaca labor group is becoming larger.

The Ithaca Public Workers Coalition is welcoming Bangs Ambulance Workers United as a new member. Coalition spokesperson Tom Condzella says the incorporation can accomplish “a lot” for public safety.

The union is beginning contract negotiations with the ambulance company.
