ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Parking at the Ithaca Farmers Market will become easier.
Ithaca’s Planning and Development Board approved the first phase of a market overhaul on Tuesday. Plans include paving the lot and adding some spots.
Board member Mitch Glass says the changes will make a big difference.
“It’s going to be a completely new experience to go to the farmers market, and be able to park and circulate through this area in ways that we can’t right now,” he says.
Phase two of the project involves improving the waterfront.
