ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — In the new year, it might cost a little more to use a parking garage in Ithaca.

The adjustments, which are a response to inflation, were discussed Wednesday in the City Administration Committee. Under consideration is raising the rates for monthly and weekly parking garage permits starting January 1, while hourly rates would likely change later in the year.

The full Common Council must vote on the measure at their upcoming meeting Wednesday.
