ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca leaders will weigh in on the Israel-Hamas war.
The Common Council meets this evening to consider calling for a ceasefire. A proposed resolution also urges the Biden administration to cut off military funding to Israel, and to support the release of hostages taken by Hamas.
A similar ceasefire resolution recently failed in the Tompkins County Legislature.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 PM at Ithaca City Hall.
