ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca Common Council is now meeting more frequently.
Mayor Robert Cantelmo tells WHCU three regular meetings are going to be held each month.
Cantelmo says the third meeting will focus on setting an agenda. In the previous once-a-month structure, Ithaca Common Council meetings routinely stretched over four hours.
The increase in meetings was approved Wednesday by the Common Council.
