ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — State officials call it a win against greenhouse gasses.
Governor Hochul has signed legislation to save Ithaca Carshare. State Senator Lea Webb and Assemblymember Anna Kelles made the announcement today.
The non-profit was at risk of shutting down because of insurance issues. Officials say the carshare service will resume in March.
In related news, the Ithaca City School District plans to add more electric busses.
