ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — An Ithaca city official is speaking highly of a green policy.

Alderperson Pierre Saint-Perez says the new Justice50 plan is a big leap forward for environmental efforts. He calls the policy “very exciting.”

The Common Council approved the plan last week. It commits the city to invest at least 50 percent of all capital funds into climate justice communities.
