ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Two people are undergoing surgery after a shooting early Saturday morning on the Commons.

Ithaca Police describe the suspect as a Black male wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and white shoes. The shooting happened in the 100 block of East State Street, on the west end of the Commons.

Both victims reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact IPD, which you can do so anonymously on their tip line at 607-330-0000.
