ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca Police have recovered a handgun. 

Officers say someone was waving a gun in the area Wednesday night at the intersection of State Street and Floral Avenue. When police arrived, they found the suspect but not the gun. Later, officers learned a semi-automatic handgun was in the 200 block of Floral Avenue.
