ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — An armed robbery investigation is underway in Ithaca.

The victim tells officers four Black men entered his apartment Thursday night at the Ithaca Arthaus. One of the men reportedly struck him in the head and face. The suspects left with cash and electronics. The victim is currently recovering.

Officers are searching for the four suspects, but no descriptions have been released.

In a separate reported incident, two suspects in an assault on West State Street remain at large.

IPD says two Black men approached the victim Friday night shortly before 9:30 and physically attacked him, using a handgun to strike the victim in the head and neck.

The only descriptions available of the suspects are that they were both wearing dark-colored clothes and one wore a red bandana.

The victim is being treated for lacerations.
