ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca Police Department have been responding to more DWI calls in the last six months. 

According to information released early Thursday morning from IPD, officers have seen a 233% increase in accidents involving the arrest of impaired drivers. DWI arrests overall are up 91% for the second half of 2023.

IPD says if you’re attending holiday parties this year, be careful on the roads.
