ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Cornell students at Court-Kay-Bauer Hall dormitory are anxious and fearful after an incident with an intruder.
According to the Daily Sun, a female resident reported an intruder had been in their room around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The victim said she woke up from a nap to a foul smell in the room and found a man under her bed, who got up and exited upon being discovered. The victim was not wearing her glasses and therefore could not identify the intruder.
The Cornell University Police Department is investigating and hopes to locate the man but cautioned students to lock their rooms and avoid allowing non-residents in the building.
