ITHACA, NY (WHCU) — Ithaca’s school board has a decision to make.
After certifying results of Tuesday’s budget vote, the Board of Education must now decide to either adopt a contingency budget or hold a budget re-vote on June 18.
The $168 million spending plan proposal for Ithaca’s 2024 to 2025 school year was defeated by voters, who also rejected buying more electric buses and infrastructure improvements to the bus garage.
