ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca City School District is receiving money from the state through the Smart Schools Bond Act.
Governor Hochul says nearly $32 million is going to 61 districts to invest in Wi-Fi access, classroom technology, and school security upgrades. Those school districts investment plans were approved by the Smart Schools Review Board.
Ithaca will receive nearly half a million dollars for high-tech security.
