HOMER, NY (WHCU) — The town of Homer is considering allowing electronic billboards in industrial and commercial spots around town, while a group of residents are speaking out against the proposed change.
Nancy Dafoe is part of a group called Dark Sky Homer, which opposes the addition of digital billboards.
However, Homer Town Supervisor Mike Park tells WHCU they aren’t close yet to making a final decision.
Park adds only a small number of the digital billboards are under consideration.
Dafoe shared with WHCU some concerns.
The Homer Town Board is holding their regular monthly meeting tomorrow night at 6:30.
