HOMER, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Homer Fire Department will celebrate its 150th anniversary.

Saturday at noon, there will be a ceremony featuring Village Historian Martin Sweeney. After that, there will be ladder truck rides and face painting for kids. Hot dogs will be served for 10 cents each.

The event happens at the Homer Village Green.
