ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Masks are no longer required at any Guthrie facility.
The health group cites declining county transmission rates for ending the pandemic-era rule. Masks are now optional across the Guthrie system.
In addition, COVID pre-procedure or pre-admission testing on patients with no symptoms will end May 1. Screening for COVID-19 signs and symptoms will continue.
With COVID cases trending downward in the communities Guthrie serves, masking is now optional in all areas at all Guthrie locations. pic.twitter.com/Np71j94mEs
