SOLON, N.Y. (WHCU) — An Oswego County woman is charged with murder in Cortland County. 

State Police say 32-year-old Ariela Thran was arrested on Saturday. The body of 62-year-old Patricia Halverson was found on Wednesday outside her home in Solon. Thran will appear in Solon Town Court next Wednesday.

The Granby woman remains behind bars without bail in the Cortland County Jail.
