WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHCU) — Senator Kirsten Gillibrand supports the military’s decision to up its age limit.

She says getting young recruits is challenging post-COVID.

“A lot of people have just decided life is too short, and they want to do something that really brings them joy,” Gillibrand says.

The Navy recently raised its age limit to 41.
