LAPEER, N.Y. (WHCU) — A Cortland County town is receiving money to repair roads.

Over $130,000 will be available for Lapeer. Most of the money comes from the Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program. Additional funding is from the Pave Our Potholes and Extreme Winter Recovery programs.

Highway Superintendent George Courtney, Jr. says Cooper Hill Road, Phillips Road, and Muckey Road are among the most important streets to repair. It’s unclear which roads will be fixed.
