ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca’s airport is getting a new building. 

Tompkins County officials say Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand secured $1.5 million in federal funding for the construction of a new, joint-use emergency building that would also house firefighting and snow removal equipment.

It’ll be located at the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport.
