ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County is reappointing its Republican election commissioner.

On Tuesday, the legislature voted to bring back Alanna Congdon. She’ll continue serving through 2025.

Legislator Mike Sigler says Congdon does a “great job.”

Elsewhere in the area, Cortland County is also considering reappointing its Republican election commissioner.
