ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is cracking down on drunk driving.

In October, authorities charged 15 people with DWI. That’s about double the number from September. The amount of felony DWI arrests also increased.

In other local crime, Ithaca Police say a woman set fire to her apartment.
