CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) – Two men in Cortland are facing charges after an early morning search in the city.
The Cortland County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant for narcotics at a residence on Charles Street just before 5 a.m. on Thursday. Investigators say they found meth, cocaine, molly, packaging material, scales, cash, and two billy clubs. The estimated street value of the drugs is around $4200.
Elijah Sharp, 56, and 50-year-old William Hart Jr. were both arrested. Sharp is facing felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of felony criminal possession of a weapon, and four misdemeanors. Hart is charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.
The investigation is ongoing.
