ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A fire at a Cornell University residence hall is under investigation.

Emergency personnel responded to a fire alarm at Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023.  A burnt pile of laundry was discovered on the fourth floor. The building’s fire suppression system contained it to a small area. Both the Cornell University Police Department and Ithaca Fire Department are investigating the blaze.
