ITHACA, NY (WHCU) – There is no need for alarm this Saturday at Ithaca Tompkins International Airport (ITH).

ITH and local emergency responders will conduct a simulated emergency on Saturday morning. The disaster drill is required by the Federal Aviation Administration every three years.

Anyone in the area will likely see multiple emergency vehicles responding to the airport.

The drill will happen sometime between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
