ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County has several openings for corrections officers.

Sheriff Derek Osborne says the job is unconventional and rewarding.

“Every day brings a unique set of challenges,” he says. “Once you think you’ve seen it all, something else happens to change your mind on that.”
