DANBY, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Danby Volunteer Fire Company is thanking donors.

Authorities recently raised about $25,000. The money is covering the cost of a new Jaws of Life rescue tool. It helps save people who are trapped in cars.

The previous tool was over 20 years old.
