CUYLER, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Cuyler woman wanted for several weeks has been arrested.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint on October 7 that someone used two counterfeit $100 bills at the Dollar General located at 5795 State Route 13 in Cuyler.

Investigators identified 46-year-old Heath Hill-Yackel as the suspect and issued a warrant for her arrest on October 13. Hill-Yackel was located on Thursday, November 2, and charged with felony criminal possession of a forged instrument.

She’s scheduled to appear in Cuyler Town Court on Monday, November 13.
