OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — A smelly situation in Owego is over with.

Authorities responded to Erie Street on Tuesday night, after receiving reports about a gas leak. Part of the road was closed as firefighters investigated.

Officials with NYSEG found the source and shut off the gas. There are no reports of any hospitalizations.
