CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — There are no injuries after a house fire in Cortland.

It happened around 11:30 PM Thursday on Park Street. Authorities say the fire stemmed from a kitchen stove. The house suffered significant smoke and water damage.

The Red Cross is assisting the resident with shelter. Crews from Cortlandville helped on the scene.
