CORTLAND, NY (WHCU) — Kudos for a Cortland Police officer.

A commendation was given to Officer Tyler Zacek for the arrest of a domestic violence suspect in January. Zacek was also presented a life saving award for springing into action and saving the life of someone suffering from cardiac arrest.

Zacek was presented the pair of commendations by Police Chief Paul Sandy.
