CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cortland plans to honor a longtime city employee.

The Common Council is preparing to recognize Linda Armstrong. She’s worked for the city for over 40 years and is retiring soon.

Officials say Armstrong is a skilled administrator with good character.

The Common Council meets tonight at 6 PM.
