CORTLAND, NY (WHCU) — Budgets in every Cortland County school district for 2024 to 2025 is good to go.

The Cortland Enlarged City School District budget was approved Tuesday by 69 percent. Four other propositions also passed. Voters accepted all three propositions in the Homer, Marathon, and McGraw school districts. Two propositions in the Cincinnatus Central School District were approved.

Over in Tioga County, all three proposals for the Owego Apalachin Central School District were approved by wide margins.

The $57.9 million proposed budget passed 758 to 342. By a margin of over 500 votes, voters also agreed to the purchase of five school buses. And in a 750 to 348 vote, a $28.5 million capital project was also approved.

Also in Tioga County, budgets were approved by voters in the Candor and Spencer Van Etten Central School Districts.
