CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) – Authorities in the City of Cortland are asking for help identifying a suspect in a theft.

Cortland Police responded to the 7-11 on North Main Street on Saturday for a report of a female stealing alcohol. An employee says the girl attempted to conceal her face when she walked in, took three twelve-packs, and stopped on the way out to tell the clerk she was sorry as she left the store. Anyone who recognizes the person pictured below or has information relevant to the case is asked to call the City of Cortland Police Department at 607-758-8307, and reference case # C23-18306.
