CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — State funding in Cortland has been unchanged for about 15 years.

Mayor Scott Steve recently spoke in Albany where he appealed for more money.

The AIM funding, or Aid and Incentives for Municipalities, helps pay for some projects in Cortland.

Governor Hochul included over $714 million in AIM funding in her 2024-25 budget proposal, which is due on Monday.
