CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — More trees are coming to Cortland County.

The Soil and Conservation District is coordinating plantings at Dwyer Memorial Park, the Cortland Waterworks building, and the Department of Transportation property near Wendy’s. Trees have also been planted on six private lots of land.

The county is seeking grant funding from the U.S. Forest Service to support forestry staff.
